History
The breed was reborn at the end of the 19th century, under the instigation of some huntsmen from the West. Since then its evolution has been constant as much in the plan of necessary morphological improvement as in the preservation of the qualities of the dog from ?the South (Midi)?.
Care
Fenced yard and leashed.
Training
Even if it has an independent thinking, with firm, consistent, gentle training made with patience, man can get good results. It needs to be socialized since an early age with the household animals.
Coat & grooming
The fur of this dog must be brushed occasionally with a rubber brush to remove the dead hair bristles. The claws are kept short and the ears clean.
